Hola mi familia! So wendesday and thursday were both long as a butt. But after those two days its really picked up. Im having a great time and I havent been stressed at all really. Spanish is dumb and stupid and hard but i like it anyway and im getting better everyday. My companion is named Elder Bowman and hes a tall goofy guy and we joke all the time. It makes the MTC a lot easier. Ive made a ton of new friends and my district is just a bunch of studs. so thats awesome. K real quick story time. On last thursday we were sitting in a classroom doing our normal studying with my district and I look to my left at elder bowman and I see what looks like a small bird fly under his desk so I double take and look back and its a massive brown butterfly or moth or something so im about to say something to him and it brushes his hand and he looks down and sees it a foot away from him, and im telling you this thing was MASSIVE, he about crapped his pants and almost fell out of his chair. I was laughing super hard. Ill have more to tell next week and I have lots of people to write but ill be on for the next 45 min if you of you have questions or whatever send em quick and I can respond

Mom sent a little package of stuff to to you on Monday.  Including your key chain consecrated oil thing that I filled 

up for you last week and then left sitting in the bathroom.  

Can you buy the thing there that you need to send pictures ?  And can you buy golf pants there?  

Or do we need to mail those things to you?

I havent seen and SD card reader anywhere but i could probably get them. golf pants will need 

to be mailed if thats ok

So in the world of Spanish - it’s definitely a headache to learn, I remember one day in Chile 

sitting down in the dirt street while my companion was taking to somebody and feeling sorry 

for myself and a bunch of little 5-6 year old kids were running around me playing soccer and 

yelling at each other in Spanish without any effort at all and I thought to myself that I would 

never in a million years get it.  Well I didn’t they day or the next but it did come and when it 

came, it came strong and continues to bless my life 28 years later.  I’m so grateful for the 

guidance of the Spirit in this work.  I entered the Provo MTC 28 years ago today.  That makes 

me feel both sentimental and old.

Hey again family how is everyone doing? Its been a pretty average week here at the CCM. ya know 

sit in a desk and read books. Also one of my teachers is slowly going crazy I think. Heres the dumbest 

thing ever. The other day we were in the main building doing the practice lessons. so a companionship 

goes in one at a time and teaches a 15 min lesson they prepared to our fake investigator who is just our 

teacher. So while the last companionship of the day was going, me and elder Bowman found a room 

about 10 feet down the hall with a piano in it so I played for a bit and then we came back out. We went 

over to our district all sitting at tables doing study and I told our DL who plays piano that there was one 

in the room down the hall and he was like no way show me. So while elder bowman was talking to some

 other missionaries right there I went down the hall and showed him the room and stepped inside. Next 

thing I know our teacher was marching down the hall with elder bowman who had been put into a 

threesome companionship because I was missing and she assumed I was doing bad stuff whatever that

 means, She was mad and was saying we could get sent home and all this stuff and I was like, you have

 got to be joking, i was literally ten feet away from him and for like 2 seconds. Thats when I decided I want 

to go to chile haha. But ya I think she now thinks we are troublemakers and disobedient missionaries so 

thats great. Also audge and ryan I listened to everglow while I wrote this on the computer headphones and 

almost cried; ive missed that song a lot. Thanks for sending it to me! K hope to hear from you all this week!
